A Lethargic start from BB's soon gifted the visitors an early penalty which went unconverted to points but set the pattern for the first kalf. The visitors pack scrummaged well holding the home pack in the early skirmishes. The confrontation styles of both packs lead to a niggly game both teams having men yellow carded. Dan rochall spending more time on the Bin this season than Top Cat. Scoring opportunites were few in the first half, the visitors taking 3 nil lead into half time from a well taken penalty from a BB's indiscression. The visitors extended their lead early in the second half with a penaly in front of the posts. This at last stirred the home team into action, Roman Coombes leading the way with barn storming runs, the last pass just failing to reach it'ss target. The Breakthrough came with 10 minutes to go through the Skipper Marl Galpin driving over from close range. The try went unconverted. The closing minutes of the game were a tenses affair BB's pressing hard breaking the line with regularity but the visitors scrambling defence holding out. The final act of the game ended with the Referee refusing to allow a line out to follow a penalty, BB's running the ball, a grub through just being touched down by he visitors ahead of the BB's backline.
