The BB's impressive home from continues in their first year in  Mids SW 3. Locking horns with the visiting team promoted with them last year as champions, was always going to be a challenge .The BB's met the challenge head on giving the visiting pack a torrid time. BB's dominated territory in the first half. Paul Scott missing a sitter early on.  The pressure in the visitors 22 rewarded BB's with a push over try for scrum half Matt Wilson - unconverted , Droitwich losing a backrow to the sin bin in the process. Poor skills from the restart gave Droitwich field position if the BB's 22 to launch there backs who moved the ball wide to score in the corner, unconverted. Before half time break BB's used their forward power  in the driving maul to score their second try through  second row Anthony Waterer - converted. 12 - 5 at half time. The second started well for the BB's, a clearance kick to half way was chased well, when Droitwich took a quick throw Ollie Ardersley was on hand to fly hack the ball to within metres of the line. He  was adjudged to have beeen impeded ,the referee awarding a penalty try converted.  The middle third of the half saw open rugby from both teams to little reward until  the a well worked phase of play with interplay with forwards and back gave Roman Coombes chance to show his strength an pace to score in the corner - unconverted. The last few minutes of the game with both teams down to 14 men saw Droitwich gain a concellation try nconverted. MoM Mark Galpin.
